Monty is our foundation stud dog, We obtained him from my good friend Naomi Brown of  Ashgate U.S.. His sire was Uk and Am Ch Ashgate Scots Progress owned and bred by Sue Thompson. Scot had always been a favourite of mine and I jumped at the chance of owning a puppy out of him. I will be forever grateful to Naomi for entrusting me with such a beautiful puppy. Monty went to his first show on his six month birthday and won BPIS all 3 days and placed in the group as well. He was awarded his Canadian Championship at the ripe old age of 6 months and 3 days!  We did not show Monty that much, however that first year he regularly placed in the groups in Canada and won a number of BPIS. He went down to the American National Speciality at Montgomery as a puppy and went BOW at Hatboro along with his littermate who was WB they were both still junior puppies at the time. Monty was awarded his American Championship before he was a year old. We showed occasionally in the USA after that, but basically his show career was over after finishing his championships He now spends his time ruling the roost at home and lounging on the couch. He has produced many beautiful babies including 6 Canadian Champions and 3 Am/Can Champions., including Bennie

Following his sire’s footsteps Ben won Best Puppy in Show at six months old on his first outing in April 2009 . He went on to win nineteen  Best Puppy in Show and two Best in Show before he was a year old. Ben loved the show ring and considered it a place to have fun, still does, the louder and larger the crowd the better he likes it!  In 2010 we decided to let him keep showing as it was obviously something he loved, he went on to win seventeen Best In Shows  and  become #9 all breed dog in Canada , he went Best of Breed at the prestigious Morris and Essex Dog Show  in the USA which is held only once every five years, his daughter Chloe won Junior Puppy Class at the same show!  He took Select dog at Montgomery the American National Speciality .  We did not show Ben on a regular basis in 2011 bringing him out only for Speciality shows and the occasional large show in the USA . He went on to win the Canadian and American National Specialty Shows, won a group 4 at Westminster and Best Of Breed at the World Show in Paris.he also won Best of Breed at the Eukanuba National Championship Show in Orlando Florida. He was shown on six week ends in the USA and finished # 3 Westie in breed points.  We are very proud of Ben and his handler Chrystal  Murray , they achieved so much in a short career . Bennie came with us to Crufts 2012 and we were delighted he won the CC and BOB handled by Chrystal. A day we will always remember
