Following his sire’s footsteps Ben won Best Puppy in Show at six months old on his first outing in April 2009 . He went on to win nineteen Best Puppy in Show and two Best in Show before he was a year old. Ben loved the show ring and considered it a place to have fun, still does, the louder and larger the crowd the better he likes it! In 2010 we decided to let him keep showing as it was obviously something he loved, he went on to win seventeen Best In Shows and become #9 all breed dog in Canada , he went Best of Breed at the prestigious Morris and Essex Dog Show in the USA which is held only once every five years, his daughter Chloe won Junior Puppy Class at the same show! He took Select dog at Montgomery the American National Speciality . We did not show Ben on a regular basis in 2011 bringing him out only for Speciality shows and the occasional large show in the USA . He went on to win the Canadian and American National Specialty Shows, won a group 4 at Westminster and Best Of Breed at the World Show in Paris.he also won Best of Breed at the Eukanuba National Championship Show in Orlando Florida. He was shown on six week ends in the USA and finished # 3 Westie in breed points. We are very proud of Ben and his handler Chrystal Murray , they achieved so much in a short career . Bennie came with us to Crufts 2012 and we were delighted he won the CC and BOB handled by Chrystal. A day we will always remember
